Borges became blind by the age of 55. Some critics have speculated that his rich universe of labyrinths, dreams, chance, archives, and other supernatural elements is a direct consequence of his blindness. He once said that he was able to perceive a limited number of colors. I grew up reading his short stories and discussing them with my boyhood friends. This collection is an attempt to colorize the Borgean world.
