There was a period of about 2 months in 2020 when I was fascinated with gold, silver and copper liquid watercolors. At the time, I used to go to Home Depot at the end of the day, where I would get scraps of wood for free, left over from cut to size bigger pieces. I would then go to my studio. cover the wood pieces in multiple coats of black ink, and then pour the watercolors on the slick surfaces and tilt them this way and that to make human shapes appear. Below are the products of this time of extremely fun experimentation.
